QuickLog PDA

QuickLog PDA is the field version of QuickLog designed to be used with handheld computers running Windows Mobile 5.0 or later. QuickLog PDA offers user customizable pick-lists and data dictionaries of geologic terms to speed data entry – users create lithologic descriptions without having to type-out words. QuickLog PDA also utilizes Microsoft Excel Mobile for entering sampling, well construction, and other data. Once a QuickLog PDA project file is complete, the user copies it to a desktop or notebook computer where it is imported into Geotechnical Graphics, in one step.

Account Setup

We want our clients to have the convenience of freely downloading and installing the QuickLog PDA application to as many PDA devices as they like. Therefore, instead of selling it as an application, we are offering it as a service. To use it, you will be charged for the amount of data that you import from it, after returning from the field. The cost is about $10 for a medium sized borehole.

Similar products from our competitors cost about $1800 per license. As usage varies greatly between our customers, we feel that many of our customers will benefit more by paying in accordance to their usage rather than making a large investment up-front. Another benefit of this system is that usage can be tracked by project and submitted to your clients for re-billing. If you already have a Pay-As-You-Go account with us, you are ready to go. Getting Started

To use QuickLog PDA, just download the latest version of Geotechnical Graphics. Instructions for installing and using QuickLog PDA are found in the PDF manual (see folder, "c:\program files\mtech2009") and also in the program Help guide.
